killzone is superb on-line, but i dont think the single player is anything spectacular. and infamous for me was nothing but a free-roaming brawler with the most repetitive missions ever. i agree that 09 is turning into one of the best ever years for gaming, but i think it stinks of bias and just a smidgen of fanboyism to totally disregard the opposition(no matter how much you kids hate them).

ofcourse, both companies have seen the success of the wii and want a slice of the action. this gen is already sown up, nintendo have cleaned house.
next gen, i'm thinking/hoping that both microsoft and sony will continue to upgrade their hardware aswell as add the motion games that have driven the wii to its current position.
if they cater for the hardcore like me, but include the causals wii style then i'll be happy. when i undo the box of the next-gen xbox or plays...
i hope so, coz that is probably my most anticipated game this year
the games i will be buying this year are as follows
ps3: MAG, uncharted2 and demons souls
360: Halo odst, forza3, l4d2, battlefield bad company2, modern warfare2, wolfenstein, borderlands and brutal legend. plus all the other mult-platforms that i buy for the 360.
i reckon i am going to be buying more than 10 games before the year is out.
